God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Omegaven magic!

Monday, March 31 evening
Kathy Gura, the Omegaven pharmacist, delivered a whole box of Omegaven to our room today. Makes it seem a lot more real, for some reason... maybe because it's in the bottles instead of a syringe like it's been (which is the same as the regular old lipids come in), maybe it's because now I know she'll be on it, even when we're not in the hospital anymore... either way, it's pretty cool :) Speaking of Omegaven- I was looking at Faith's feet today, thinking how cute they are and how I need to take one of those artsy black & white pictures of them like you see in frames. A little while later, I looked at them again, and noticed something. Look at this picture and tell me what I noticed: (hint- look at her foot in comparison to my hand)
That's right! Her feet are turning PINK!! It makes me tear up to look at the picture! I remember reading on Max's blog that the yellow goes away from the feet up... Tomorrow is day 7 on Omegaven.

Very Cool! So far we are lovin' the fish as well! Glad you are able to go outpatient. As far as dealing with all this "stuff" at home by yourself -- you make it work. You'll learn a system that works for your family. If you ever have any questions I'd be happy to answer anything for you -- we've done it all and have lots of tips and tricks!

Hey, I dropped by from MDC and wanted to let you know that I really liked your blog and that I think you and your family are all AMAZING.

I hope that it was OK to share the picture of the PINK foot with some friends at Artistic Thread Works. It is an online embroidery/sewing/quilting group. They have been fantastic with their prayers and support for my grandson, Sammy O'Connor. They have all added little Faith to their prayers, and are pleased to see the change already.
