God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Prayer request

I just met a grandma in the family lounge while I was eating lunch, and her granddaughter (and her family) could really use some prayers. They didn't know that anything would be wrong with her before she was born, but she has an issue with her heart (some kind of a septum defect), that unfortunately the doctors can't do a whole lot for. There is a chance that when she gains a little more weight, they can go in and look around, and they might be able to make use of some arteries and give her some more time, but they said she probably won't live to be big enough for a transplant, and if they could do a transplant, it would be a heart-lung transplant, and I guess that's harder to get organs for. Anyway, I don't know what anyone can do for this family, other than pray for a miracle. I forgot to ask the baby's name, but it is a little girl, so please remember her and her family in your prayers, and pray that God would strengthen and be with them during this time.
I feel so incredibly blessed and thankful, that even if Faith's intestines never really work right, she can still have a full life... I can't imagine facing the type of decision this family may be facing all too soon... please pray for them.
