The boys and I went outside to play today, since it was about 70 degrees outside. My mom stayed in with Faith and got to take a nice shower and actually have some quiet quality time with her. I took the camera out with us, and got a bunch of pictures of the two guys having tons of fun, enjoying the last of autumn (in December!)... It's nice sometimes to do something "normal", and take a break from everything else...
There is a really nice grassy courtyard-type area out behind the hospital, right outside our window, so that is where I took them. This is the view to the hospital from out there, just to give you more of an idea of where it is in relation to our room. (I added an arrow and the words "our room" to the picture... the words are pretty impossible to read, but the arrow points at our window.)At first they played "chase"...
But then they made a fun new discovery...Nathan: Hey Noah, look at this!
Noah: What is it?
Nathan: I don't know, but let's stick things in these holes!
Noah: Way cool! (yes, he actually says this in real life!)
Then Nathan hugged a statue...
And started rolling down hills...
Noah tried the hill thing, too...
But he prefers to just run...

What Great pics!! I am so glad that we all got to have a little time away that was fun too! I think that was our last chance to play outside without snowpants and boots! Funny Colorado weather, we ate ice cream outside that day in the 70's and the next day the high was 30.
Love to all,
Momma
