I love it that this hospital is so in favor of parental involvement :) They are very supportive and encouraging with breastfeeding, and they totally push for parent interaction, kangaroo care, and such. We are SO blessed that we are able to be here with Faith!
They've weaned her down on her oxygen twice this afternoon, she's down to 27 now, 21 is "room air". Assuming her blood gases come back good when Sarah checks them at 5, they will probably take it down more! She is doing so great, she'll be extubated before we know it! :)

what a beautiful picture of you holding your daughter! made me tear up a bit. I bet Faith felt so comforted to be in her mommy's arms. praise God!
I am so glad you were able to hold her! I'm sure she was glad too; I'll bet she's missed getting to be all wrapped up in mommy. I pray she continues to improve quickly.
The picture of you holding faith brought tears to my eyes. There is nothing better then seeing Faith in her mama's arms. I'm sure Faith will continue to improve quickly now that she is able to be held by the ones she loves most. I'm speechless! Give faith a kiss from me too :)
Anonymous is Jenae. You won't be able to give her a kiss from me if you don't know who wrote it (ha, ha). (((HUGS)))
What a beautiful little girl you have. I love the picture of you holding her. I am so glad that she has done so great! Hopefully you guys will get to bring her home soon.
That is a beautiful picture! What a special moment. I am so happy that you are now able to hold Faith and comfort her through this difficult experience.
